Trust your instincts

Friday, 25 July 2014 11:35:19 AM Australia/Sydney

I know it’s winter when I want to just rug up in front of an open fire, preferably in my favourite pyjamas enjoying a warm hearty meal with a nice glass of red. Perhaps you’re like me;  perhaps we are just being human.  After all if animals can slow down and hibernate during winter why can’t we?

Our ancestors were influenced greatly by the seasons.  In 1900, the British Medical Association published a description of winters among Russian peasants.

Monday, 7 July 2014 2:09:11 PM Australia/Sydney

Researchers have found sniffing this essential oil in advance enables people to remember to do things.

Rosemary oil is one of the most popular essential oils for its wide array of health benefits. It has become increasingly important and popular over the years as more of its various health benefits have become understood, including its ability to stimulate hair growth, boost mental activity and relieve respiratory problems. It is used in modern-day herbal medicine as a mild painkiller and for migraines and digestive problems.

Rosemary has been extensively used since ancient times for a variety of purposes. The Romans gave special importance to the rosemary plant and used it frequently in religious ceremonies. It was also used during wedding ceremonies, food preparation, cosmetic care, and medicinal herbal care. Rosemary plant and its extract were also used by the ancient, Egyptian civilization as incense.

Dry skin at this time of the year? Here's what you can do.

Thursday, 15 May 2014 4:34:35 PM Australia/Sydney

During this colder time of year we spend most of our days in warm air-conditioned surroundings and the majority of us will usually notice that are skin feels drier, rougher and more flaky.

Increasing our water intake to minimise dehydration is always a good idea but one of the most important foundations – the very first step – to keeping your skin healthy during these winter months is to use a good quality natural moisturiser which is infused with a blend of pure essential oils.  It will beautifully protect and moisturise your skin leaving it feeling silky smooth with an all-over feeling of luxury and you, and those that you meet, will love the wonderful aroma.

You’ll also feel great as essential oil products contain properties that are beneficial for stress and anxiety. Used every day, on your skin as a moisturiser these essential oils will help instil feelings of strength and calm that can carry you throughout the day.

BE Lite for Cellulite - toxins & fluid

Friday, 11 April 2014 2:50:04 PM Australia/Sydney

BE Lite for Cellulite is detoxifying and diuretic in its actions.  It encourages the body to speed up its process of elimination which is important for health.  Each day we ingest/inhale toxins & chemicals from various sources - food preservatives and chemicals, polluted air, water etc.  Our body from the time we are born tries to maintain homeostasis or balance.  If our ingestion of toxins and chemicals is greater than can be excreted each day our body stores these in the fatty tissues of the body and surrounds it with water to protect it from being excreted too quickly and overloading our body.  Some herbal detoxing products if taken in excess can cause our body to excrete these toxins too quickly and throws our body into a healing crisis.

Aromatherapy works with our body to speed up the process of elimination and due to the diuretic nature of some of the essential oils helps encourage our body to break down the water capsule around the toxins, speeds up circulation and helps rid our body of these toxins without overwhelming our body.  That's why I encourage everybody to use BE Lite for Cellulite each day as a moisturiser all over the body.  Our lifestyles are such that we need support to deal with the number of toxins and chemicals we are bombarded with each day.  By using it each day we give ourselves the best chance to maintain optimum health.  Any toxins or chemical stored in our body can over time turn cancerous.  BE Lite for Cellulite also helps our digestion with its antispasmodic properties and stimulating ingredients.  Therefore we are not as likely to suffer from constipation, which can lead to diverticulitis and bowel disease.  It also suggest using BE Lite for Cellulite when there is excess fluid present such as ankles, knees and joints and also for insect bites and stings.
