Balanced Essentials produces a range of aromatherapy oil blends. Each blend consists of a selection of essential oils combined in carrier oils of sweet almond, wheatgerm and macadamia. During manufacture a crystal bead is placed in the bottle.
Essential oils are crystalline structures that carry light. They are electromagnetic, as we are ourselves. They are thought to travel through the space between cells, where the molecules of emotion may also travel. The vibrational energy from the crystal helps to enhance the benefits of the essential oils and helps to balance the body.
There is a force in nature, invisible and imperceptible to most of modern humankind, which plays a vital role in health and healing. This force has been called many things – Universal Life force, ‘Chi’, pure consciousness, prana, the Universal Field. This force courses through all things and in doing so produces an outer energy field referred to as the ‘aura’. It is this which allows you to interact on a non-physical level with all things.”
“We now know that what underpins biochemistry is electromagnetism, a form of energy. It has taken quantum physics to show that what we perceive as solid matter is actually 99.9999% empty space filled with energy. By understanding that all matter is energy it is easier to understand how man can interact with a crystal. ” The Book of Crystal Healing by Liz Simpson”.
Our earth is 85% crystal. Its crust is largely silicon and oxygen, combined with six other common elements – aluminium, iron, calcium, sodium, potassium and magnesium. Crystals occur in a myriad of colours, shapes and sizes. Minerals were one of the catalysts that directed prehistoric people towards civilization. Their discovery of a property of quartz called “conchoidal fracture” led them to fashion tools and weapons. When two pieces of flint are struck together they may fracture and produce a curved, shell-like edge as sharp and effective as steel. Flint also exhibits a characteristic property known as piezoelectricity. When mechanical pressure is applied to certain crystals a static charge is produced that generates a spark with which to make fire. The same principle is utilized today in cigarette lighters.
Certain crystals, most notably the quartz family, can convert mechanical pressure into electrical energy. This is known as the piezoelectric effect, from the Greek word, piezo, meaning “to press”, and was discovered by French scientists Pierre and Jacques Curie, in 1880. These crystals develop electric charges on their opposing faces when they are heated.
Biocrystalline refers to the network of cellular elements in the body which have liquid crystal or quartz-like properties. These areas include cell salts, lymphatics, fatty tissue, red and white blood cells and the pineal gland. Crystalline structures work on sympathetic resonancy.
There is an attunement between crystalline properties in the physical and subtle bodies, the ethers, and many vibrational remedies, notable aromatherapy, flower essences and gems. These properties in the body magnify the life-force of vibrational remedies to a recognizable level to be assimilated. This stimulates the discharge of toxicity to create health.

Crystal Uses
A crystal is a hard, solid substance made of molecules that bond together in specific patterns to form an interesting shape that has straight edges and flat surfaces. Not all crystals have the same shape.
Crystals from rocks called quartz are used inside of computers, radio transmitters and receivers (the things that allow radios to send and pick up sound), and in watches. Energy can flow through certain kinds of crystals so that they can make watches work to keep time and radios pick up signals and send them to speakers so you can hear them.
Many types of crystals are very beautiful to look at and are used to make jewellery. Diamonds, sapphires, amethysts, and rubies are all types of crystals that are often used in jewellery such as rings, earrings, and necklaces. Often the crystals will be cut into “gemstones” to make a more smooth shape and to make them fit onto the jewellery.
Past civilizations have used these ancient tools to help people live long and healthy lives and it’s the combination of essential oils and crystals that work particularly well together as they have compatible vibrational fields.
You can use the crystals in many ways; as a collection in a small glass bowl – especially beneficial near your bed or in the bathroom; in your pocket during the day or even tucked in your bra near your heart or just use your intuition and put them where you feel you get the most pleasure from them; collect the crystal beads and make your own bracelet or jewellery.
